The most unique place for us was the Grand Canyon, coming home through Wolf Creek Pass--gorgeous! Well, you know what they say, Texas, a whole nother country. It was my first and only time to get anywhere near the ocean. We rode a ferry to the island and picked up seashells, so I was happy as a clam.Shannon Taylor Vannatterhttp://shannontaylorvannatter.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301018938387900957.post-16455059607915257772010-01-05T12:52:18.831-06:002010-01-05T12:52:18.831-06:00Never been to Alaska, but always wanted to go. The bad thing is after spending so long on the rough road through Canada we only stayed one night as my dad and uncle felt everything was too expensive. Oh well, it was wonderful to see it again through this series with Susan. I was fortunate enough to edit all three books and they are all wonderful. Great work, Susan!Aaron McCarvernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301018938387900957.post-91544634421243612462010-01-05T10:55:25.270-06:002010-01-05T10:55:25.270-06:00I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise, but I'...I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise, but I've never been farther west than Wyoming.

I guess the most exotic place I've been is Devil's Tower. It was beautiful! We rode on a ferry down the coast for a ways and saw whales, which is awfully cool when you're from Minnesota! We saw lots of wild life. But the silly thing I looked forward to was seeing the snow. Dad stopped so we could go play in it the first place we came to.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03969664619247368556noreply@blogger.com
