I love reading contemporary, but occasionally enjoy a good historical. Of course my favorite of all time is Pride and Prejudice, which as we all know is historical. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say I usually prefer historicals.
ReplyDeleteI prefer reading comtempory stories, although I enjoy Heartsong historicals because they aren't bogged down with passages of facts/historical events. The history is weaved into the plot.
ReplyDeleteI'm a contemporary kind of gal. I love the choice from the vault today. I actually own this book. I met Carole at a writer's conference several years ago and enjoyed this book.
ReplyDeleteHistoricals are my first choice, but I'll read any good story. :)
ReplyDeletei love them both :)

I'll definitely pick up a historical novel first, but I do love a good contemporary as well.
ReplyDeleteI love both, but if I had to choose just one, it would be historicals. :)
ReplyDeleteThat story has an excellent premise--sounds good! I prefer contemporaries for the most part, but lately I've enjoyed every single historical I've read and I appreciate all the work that goes into that genre.
